Car Seat Installs/Checks
We all want our children to travel safely in cars. Installing a car seat for younger children and babies can be a challenge. Wilson County ESD #3 has child passenger safety (CPS) technicians on staff who can check to make sure your car seats are installed correctly and teach you how to use and install a car seat on your own. Stop by our Station #1 or schedule an appointment for any of our stations at 830-581-0380.
Ambulance Demos
No doubt, an emergency medical situation can be a frightening and emotional experience for anyone, but particularly children. Whether responding for them or a loved one, the incident can be overwhelming not only because of the medical issue at hand, but the commotion of a 9-1-1 response of emergency vehicles arriving with lights and sirens blaring. To that end, we offer ambulance demos to introduce children to EMS and let them know that Paramedics and EMTs are friendly community helpers who will be there in a time of need.
Event Medical Services (1st Aid Tent)
We offer event medical services for concerts, festivals, sports events, and more. Our event medical team includes paramedics, EMTs, and medical staff who are trained to respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate medical care to attendees.
Community CPR
We offer CPR classes every 3rd Saturday. This can be a certifying course or simply just for your knowledge. Click the Learn More button to visit our Academy website for more information and to see the schedule of upcoming CPR classes.
